The recent claims suggesting that Kipchumba Murkomen, Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport, and Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi have been banned from traveling to the United States are false. The U.S. Embassy in Kenya has officially flagged the circulated letter as fake. The document, which included numerous grammatical errors and improper formatting, falsely claimed that both officials were barred from entry due to alleged corruption linked to their dealings with the Adani Group.
The embassy clarified that no such travel restrictions have been issued, warning against the creation or dissemination of fraudulent government documents, which is illegal in both Kenya and the U.S.
