Hyena Killed in Mlolongo: Locals Call for Action as Safety Concerns Rise

Earlier today, a hyena was killed by members of the community in Phase 3 – Crescent Area, Mlolongo. This is not the first incident involving hyenas in the area this year, and locals are growing increasingly concerned about their safety. Parents have requested that teachers allow children to report to school a little later to avoid early morning encounters with wild animals.

The community has also called on the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) to take immediate action and ensure that the region is protected from hyenas, which continue to pose a threat to residents. Safety remains a priority for everyone, and cautionary measures are being encouraged.
