Machakos Man Hospitalized After Domestic Clash Over Household Chores

In a recent incident in Machakos County, Kenya, a 53-year-old woman allegedly broke her husband’s leg following a domestic dispute. The conflict reportedly began when the 53-year-old woman asked her 55-year-old husband to fetch water, which he refused. During the ensuing argument, she allegedly struck him, resulting in the injury. The incident took place in the village of Kwa Mumela in Masinga subcounty.

Local authorities, including Nzukini Assistant Chief Peter Mutuva, have confirmed the incident. Police have launched an investigation to gather more details and assess what actions will follow. However, it remains unclear if any arrests have been made at this point.

The injured man is currently receiving medical treatment at Matuu Level 4 Hospital.
